Time for a Change

Well the one thing you can count in life is change. For many years I had both a Corvette and a Mustang. My first combo was my 1970 Mustang and my 1984 Corvette. Then it was my 1970 Mustang and my 2007 C6 Corvette. Then it was my 1973 Mustang and my 2006 Corvette. As I grow a bit older, my love of cars has never changed, my love of working on them has never changed. But at some point too many cars or cars with too much work needed, it’s time for settle down and make a choice. To help fund that choice, #ProjectSportsRoof has a new home in beautiful sunny California.

My very first car was a 1966 Chevy Impala convertible, restored by my father (an auto body specialist) and given to me as a high school graduation gift (this was in 1976). But I have always longed for a corvette. I grew up in the 60’s and 70’s and the C3 was what I was drawn to and still am.

So soon I’ll be re-joining the Corvette fold once again, as my search is on for mid-70’s – 1982 Vette. (Unless a 1966 Impala shows up).

I still have the C4 itch that really needs to be scratched. Make mine a 1993 50th anniversary convertible with the Lt1 and auto, please. It is a shame you did not finish the Mustang. The remaining stuff was almost downhill type projects (less paint).

Let me hear from you!!! Drop a note!!
