#ProjectSportsRoof – Leaf Spring Test Drive.

Thanks for following along.

After finishing up what was a 9 hour day of just leaf spring work, I took a couple days off to recover (not as young as I use to be) and now it’s time to see if there’s any improvement in handling and ride with #ProjectSportsRoof.  Oh…O.K.  and to see if any ‘parts’ fall off.  So I took the 73 Stang out for a walk.

Check it out:

Successful upgrade!!!

Thanks for stopping by.

You may want to consider partial kits from:
    http://www.ronfrancis.com/
This is GM wiring harness that are adapted to various cars.
See my Tach Videos at the Average Guys Restoration, Mods, and Racing web site. It has a wealth of knowledge.

Sounds good shifts good seems to be going in the right direction. Could hear the Speedo comment, but Dicks Speedo in Tempe is the best in the state.

Gauges will be coming up soon. I have a complete set. Just need to replace. Just diagrammed out the Tach…it was working but it was disconnected at some point – wire is missing under the hood.

My real concern with the gauges is the connections/clips and retainers. They may be toasted and crumble to dust. The Seat Belt light on the passenger side turned to powder when I removed it.

Let me hear from you!!! Drop a note!!
