ThrowBackThursday A 1969 Dodge Coronet 440

I had to sneak this one in for #ThrowBackThursday.

One of my frequent reader sent over a couple of shots of him with his 1969 Dodge Coronet 440 from back in the day (1980).   ‘Wish I kept this one!” Bill says.

Thanks Bill.

Nice Car Mr. Bill!!! Yeah...we all have one we should have kept.

Gary Dan Salow (FB) 440 is an ausome motor, i had one from a 68 Charger, complete with water pump, alternator to starter. Was going to put it in my 33 ply, but changed my mind, i didnt want to have to change out my tranny and drive shaft, mounts and all the other things that go with it. Someday i hope to find a nice Hemi for a decent price.

When I think back at the abuse I gave that car, I realize there is probably no vehicle on the market today, at any price, that would take 100K miles of constant full throttle tire smoking driving. What a reliable ride!

Let me hear from you!!! Drop a note!!
